TUCSON, Ariz. – No. 21 Arizona lost the second game of the series to No. 22 Oregon, 5-2, to even the series on Saturday.

Arizona tallied 11 hits but could only plate two runs in the game.
Olivia DiNardo went 3-for-4 and
Regan Shockey recorded two hits.

Oregon struck first with three runs to open the game on a two-run double and a sacrifice fly to take an early lead. The Ducks added their final two runs in the top of the second with an RBI triple and an RBI single for a five-run lead.

The Wildcats scored their pair of runs in the bottom of the second.
Emily Schepp drove in DiNardo on an RBI triple – her first career triple.
Jasmine Perezchica brought in Schepp with an RBI single.

The rest of the game was a pitcher's duel and neither team scored after the second inning. Arizona had runners in scoring position throughout the game but left 11 runners on base.

Miranda Stoddard started in the circle and picked up the loss to fall to 4-8 on the season. She allowed four earned runs on five hits in the first 1.2 innings.
Ali Blanchard relieved Stoddard in the second and faced five batters in 0.2 innings, holding Oregon to zero runs on two hits.
Aissa Silva entered the circle in the third, striking out two Ducks and keeping Oregon scoreless in 4.2 innings.
