Oklahoma State struck first with three runs on a two-run home run and a wild pitch to open the game.

Arizona responded with one run in the bottom of the inning on an RBI single from Regan Shockey.

In the bottom of the fourth, Emily Schepp hit a two-run home run – her seventh of the season – to cut into OSU's lead.

Oklahoma State extended their lead to 10-3 in the top of the fifth with one run on an RBI double. With two out and a runner on first base, the game entered into a lightning delay.

Following the delay that last two hours and 18 minutes, Miranda Stoddard retired Oklahoma State's runner at second base to end the top of the fifth. In the bottom of the inning, Olivia DiNardo hit her fifth double of the season to drive in a run and make it a 10-4 game.

Stoddard retired the Cowgirls in order in the seventh but Arizona couldn't come back to force a third game of the super regional.

In the circle, Aissa Silva got the loss after starting the game and giving up three runs on two hits. Brooke Mannon entered the circle and went 3.2 innings and allowed five runs to score. Stoddard relieved Mannon in the fifth and finished the game, allowing just one run to score on three hits with three strikeouts.
