TUCSON, Ariz. - A pair of current Wildcats will be back on the court starting this weekend at the 2024 FIBA U20 EuroBasket tournament in Gdynia, Poland. Rising sophomores Motiejus Krivas (Lithuania) and Conrad Martinez (Spain) will look to lead their teams to victory as part of the 16-team tournament that runs from July 13-21.
Krivas and Lithuania are in Group D alongside Montenegro, Iceland and Slovenia while Martinez and the Spanish contingent are in Group C alongside Turkiye, North Macedonia and Belgium.
The group play schedule for both teams are below:
Lithuania
July 13 vs. Iceland, 6:30 a.m. MST
July 14 vs. Slovenia, 9:00 a.m. MST
July 15 vs. Montenegro, 11:30 a.m. MST
Spain
July 13 vs. North Macedonia, 11:30 a.m. MST
July 14 vs. Belgium, 6:30 a.m. MST
July 15 vs. Turkiye, 6:30 a.m. MST
Teams will be seeded for the Round of 16 based on the standings after group play. The Round of 16 will take place on July 17 with the quarterfinals on July 18, the semifinals on July 20 and the championship game on July 21.
