Arizona Places Second at Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad with 195.825

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Arizona Gymnastics scored a 195.825 to place second against Michigan, Clemson, and NC State at the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad. Michigan placed first with a 195.925, Clemson in third scoring a 195.350, and NC State followed with a 195.00.
Floor Exercise
The Cats started the meet on floor and earned a 48.500. Emma Strom posted a 9.825 and Emily Mueller followed with another strong floor routine, putting up a 9.80.
Vault
Arizona scored a 49.025 in the second rotation of the night. Sophie Derr delivered a career high of 9.80 and seniors Elizabeth LaRusso and Alysen Fears continued the momentum with 9.85s. Moving into the third rotation of the night, the Cats were in second place.
Uneven Bars
The GymCats earned a 49.075 during the third rotation. Mueller started the rotation off with a 9.825. Elena Deets performed a beautiful bar routine to earn a 9.850. Fears led the Cats on bars with a 9.90, tying her season record.
Balance Beam
Arizona closed out the meet with a 49.225. Gianna Lenczner scored a 9.850 to tie her career high. Deets earned a 9.90 as well as Martin who tied her career high on beam for the second time this season.
