Houston, Texas.- Arizona Women's Tennis fell 1-4 to Rice University, on Friday, January 31st. 

The Owls earned the doubles point to start off the match on courts one and three Friday morning. In singles competition, Arizona earned its lone victory on court four, where Tanvi Narendran defeated Allison Zipoli in straight sets 6-4, 6-1. The Owls secured the match with wins on courts five, one, and six.

The Cats will return tomorrow morning at 11 a.m MST to face off San Diego in Houston.
