TUCSON, Ariz. – Graduating leaders is a foundational part of the Bear Down Blueprint for Arizona Athletics, and that is backed up by the latest Graduation Success Rate (GSR) information released by the NCAA on Wednesday. Arizona posted a score of 92% in the data released, which sets a new department record for the fourth consecutive year.

This marks a 2% improvement over last year's record of 90%.

"We take great pride at in setting our student-athletes up for success while they are students at the University of Arizona and then in life after college," said R. Ken Coit Vice President and Director of Athletics Desiree Reed-Francois. "It's a pillar of what we do and we are proud to continue to push the bar higher each year as we support our student-athletes across all sports to achieve at the highest level while pursuing championships."
The 2025 GSR report reflects the student-athlete graduation success of a four-year cohort of student-athletes who were admitted to the University of Arizona from 2015 to 2018.
The athletic department's new record of 92 percent continues the dramatic rise for Arizona Athletics, as the department's GSR scores increased by 17 percent over the last 11 years.

Arizona has also tied or broken its all-time high eight times in the last nine years.

A total of seven of Arizona's programs scored 100 percent in this year's report, including Women's Basketball, Men's Golf, Gymnastics, Men's Swimming & Diving, Women's Tennis, Men's Track and Field and Beach Volleyball.

Additionally, Arizona student-athletes achieved record-setting grade-point averages in the Fall and Spring semesters of the 2024-25 academic year. It culminated in the Spring with a 3.389 GPA – the highest in department history – and the 15
th straight semester of a 3.0 GPA or better.
