STANFORD, Calif. – Arizona lost to [2] Stanford in four sets (16-25, 27-25, 17-25, 20-25) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to conclude the 2025 season.

The Wildcats totaled 10 blocks and held Stanford under a .300 hitting percentage but the Cardinal served eight aces to outlast the Wildcats.
Jordan Wilson led Arizona with 17 kills and recorded seven digs and three blocks in her final collegiate match.
Carlie Cisneros added 12 kills for the offense and
Journey Tucker led the defense with five blocks.

Stanford won the first set, 25-16. The Cardinal hit .565 and had three blocks to take the opening set. Cisneros led Arizona's offense with six kills and a .500 clip while Wilson followed with four kills but it wasn't enough for the Cats.

Arizona evened the match in the second set with a 27-25 win. The Cats hit .387 while the teams traded points the entire set before Arizona won the final two points. Wilson recorded six kills and hit .308 with two blocks to lead the Cats in the set. Tucker had three kills on three swings to help Arizona win the set. Â

The Cardinal took the third set, 25-17, to take a 2-1 lead in the match. Arizona fell behind early and Stanford held the lead the rest of the set. Wilson tallied five kills while the Arizona defense recorded three blocks but the Cardinal served four aces and had two blocks to win the set. Â

Stanford won the fourth set, 25-20, to win the match. Arizona recorded three blocks but the Cardinal out-hit the Cats. Cisneros tallied three kills while Wilson and
Sydnie Vanek added two kills each for Arizona. Tucker had a pair of blocks to lead the defense but it wasn't enough for the Cats. Â
