TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona's Paige Armstrong and Tate Bahti were nominated for the inaugural Allstate NACDA Good Works Team (Winter).
The team, sponsored by Allstate and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics, celebrates student-athletes who excel in academic, athletic and community settings. Armstrong and Bahti join 191 other athletes across the country who demonstrate a commitment to leadership, service and character.
Senior Tate Bahti was awarded the 2022-23 CSC Academic All-District honor and earned Arizona's community service award last year. Over the course of his time at Arizona, Bahti has volunteered over 94 hours with different organizations across the university and Tucson communities. Bahti has shown a love and commitment to his community through his work with Team IMPACT, Tucson Clean and Beautiful and the Special Olympics.
Armstrong, a junior, was named to the Dean's List with Distinction two out of five semesters at the University of Arizona and the Dean's List three out of five semesters at the University of Arizona. Paige was also awarded the College of Physiology Honors Award in Fall 2024. In addition to these accolades, Paige was also awarded Academic Champion Awards in Fall 2023 and Fall 2024 and has maintained a 3.889 GPA in the Physiology and Medical Science major during her time at Arizona. Armstrong has volunteered over 100 hours since 2022, including experience in labor and delivery volunteering at Tucson Medical Center.
A 20-member Selection Committee will choose ten female athletes and 10 male athletes from this group of nominees to join the final team.
