Charlotte Back Picks Up a Top Five Finish at The Bruin Wave Invitational

The Wildcats finished in fourth place at the Bruin Wave Invitational. Charlotte Back placed tied for fourth on the individual leaderboard. The team shot 20-over par as they struggled to limit the bogeys as a team.

Charlotte Back shot 5-over in the final round to bring her tournament total to 3-over par. Carolina Melgrati had the low round of the Wildcats with a 74 after she finished with a 1-under par back nine.

Julia Misemer ended the final round tied for 23rd. She carded a 78 in the final round for a total of 12-over par after the three rounds. Nena Wongthanavimok shot 7-over par in the last round to bring her to tied for 20th.

Maria Cabanillas and Lilas Pinthier (individual) both shot 80 in round three. Cabanillas ended her tournament tied for 40th and Pinthier finished tied for 35th.

The Cats struggled to get anything going in the final round and dropped two spots in the final round after being in second on day one.

Arizona Women's Golf has the Mountain View Collegiate, a home tournament, in Tucson coming up this weekend on Sunday. More information will be coming out this week so make sure to come out and support your Wildcats.
