Wildcats Host The 45th Annual Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate

Arizona men's golf hosts the 45th annual Arizona Thunderbird Intercollegiate at Tucson Country Club on March 17-18th. The Wildcats have dominated their home tournament for the past 7 years and swept the titles at last year's tournament. They are taking on a strong field of 13 teams that features four teams inside the top 30 including the Cats.

Past Tournament History
The Wildcats have been dominant in the past years at the event after winning six of the past seven years. Last year as a team they won the event by 21-strokes. In addition, the past 4 years a Wildcat has claimed the individual title three times. They have 12 team victories and 12 individual titles in the 44 years of the Arizona Thunderbird Intercollegiate which are the most by any team. This is just the eighth time the tournament has been held at Tucson Country Club.

The Cats have fallen to 25th in the national rankings per SCOREBOARD. They remain inside the top 25 but will look to make a jump after a great outing this week at the Arizona Thunderbird Intercollegiate.
