Arizona men's golf wins the Arizona Thunderbird Intercollegiate for the seventh time in eight years. The Wildcats won by one stroke after a birdie on the 18th hole by Filip Jakubcik. Three of the Cats finished inside the top ten in the individual standings.

Jakubcik finished in third place after the birdie on the last hole brought him to 3-under par. The third place finish is the second best of Jakubcik's season. Also, inside the top ten was Zach Pollo in a tie for sixth at 1-under. He shot a 74 in the final round. Johnny Walker was the third Wildcats to break the top ten at 1-over par for the tournament after he carded a 73 in the final 18 holes. This is the fourth time this season that three Wildcats have finished tenth or better in a tournament.

After placing tied for 26th, Matej Baca picked up his second best finish of the year. Griffin Rhoads shot a 76 after starting his back nine off hot with an eagle on the par five first hole. Tianyi Xiong went 39 and 38 in the final round and finished in a tie for 46th. Jackson Norwich started his day with a birdie but finished at 7-over par.

The Wildcats added another victory into the record books by taking advantage of the par fives. They led the field in par five scoring average. In addition, they had the most birdies out of any team this week. They had the second most pars to help their cause as well. Lastly, they were in the top five in both par three and par four scoring averages en route to victory.
