History of Colonial
Colonial Country Club is the only course to have hosted both a men's and women's U.S. Open and The PLAYERS Championship. In addition, it has hosted the longest running event on the PGA Tour. Founded in 1936 by Marvin Leonard who was driven to build a championship course of his own. But, as of 2023 the course had gone under a new master renovation by golf course architect Gil Hanse.

Annika Sorenstam at Colonial
In 2003, Annika Sorenstam joined that list of momentous occasions at Colonial by being the first woman since 1945 to play in a PGA TOUR event. Sorenstam, a 72-time LPGA Tour champion and 10-time major champion, was no stranger to setting records as she became the first in LPGA history to shoot 59, and accepted an invite to play in the event at Colonial. The legendary UofA alumni created special memories at Colonial and the Wildcats are excited to tee it up on the same course.

Tee times begin at 6:30 am MST on both days. Round one and two will be shotgun starts. The final round pairings will be determined based on first day scoring.
