Cats Inside The Top Five After Round One of Regionals

Round one of the Lubbock Regional is complete with Arizona Women's Golf in a tie for fourth. They are currently 17-over par and 16 shots back of the lead. With the top five advancing, the Cats only have a one shot advantage over sixth place. Nena Wongthanavimok was the low Cat with a round of 75. She is tied for 14th.

Charlotte Back is tied for 19th and carded at 76. Also, tied for 19th is Carolina Melgrati at 4-over par. Julia Misemer shoots at 78 and is tied for 38th. Maria Cabanillas finished her round at 8-over par.

The team is inside the top five in both par four scoring average and birdies made. Unfortunately they also have the third most bogeys in round one. Charlotte Back had the second most birdies with four and a top five scoring average on the par four.

Tee times for round two begin at 9:00 am MST.
