Kylie Kratchwell Promoted to Associate Head Coach

TUCSON, Ariz. – Kylie Kratchwell has been promoted to Associate Head Coach of Arizona Gymnastics after three years on staff - two years as an assistant coach and one as a volunteer assistant - head coach John Court announced on Wednesday.

"I am very pleased to announce Kylie's promotion to associate head coach," Court said. "She is a person of high character, has increased our program's national competitiveness, and has a positive approach in developing our student-athletes."

Kratchwell, who coaches uneven bars and helps choreograph floor routines, is coming off a season where she earned WCGA Regional Assistant Coach of the Year honors along with associate head coach Taylor Spears and assistant coach Shelby Martinez. In 2025, Kratchwell helped guide Elena Deets to Big 12 Specialist of the Year accolades as a specialist on bars and beam. The GymCats closed out the 2025 season ranked 23rd nationally on bars under the guidance of Kratchwell and earned the third-highest bars score in program history of 49.425.

In Kratchwell's three years on staff, the GymCats have produced four all-conference honorees and 25 WCGA Academic All-Americans. She coached the GymCats to tie the highest bars score in program history in the 2024 season with a 49.475 on the event and has helped the team rank in the Road to Nationals top 25 on bars in all three seasons on staff.
