TUCSON, Ariz. - Arizona will send eight triathletes to the Desert's Edge Collegiate Cup in Loma, Coloado on Sunday morning for the second race of the season. The race is set to begin at 6:30 a.m. MST and will be held at Highline Lake State Park. Traveling with the Wildcats is Sara Crociani, Molly Lakustiak, Ruth Pardy, Dana Prikrylová, Margareta Vrablova, Mia Wentzy, Kelly Lyn Wetteland, and Ellison Wolfe.
Last Race
The Wildcats opened the 2025 season with a first-place finish at the Southern Hills Collegiate Cup on August 30. Arizona totaled of 248 points to win the collegiate super sprint race.
Kelly Wetteland placed first individually with a time of 30:53 and Mia Wentzy was third with a time of 31:18. Dana Prikrylova placed seventh with a time of 31:36 and Sara Crociani was eighth with a time of 31:41. Anika Visser placed 19th with a time of 32:49.

Following the Desert's Edge Collegiate Cup, Arizona will host the Duel in the Desert on Saturday, September 20 against Arizona State at Hillenbrand Aquatic Center. The race is the program's first ever home race and will begin with prelims at 7 a.m. MST while the finals will begin at 9 a.m. MST.
