SEATTLE, Wash. – Arizona Volleyball lost in three sets (23-25, 23-25, 22-25) to Washington on Friday night at the Husky Invitational to fall to 6-1 on the season.
The Wildcats tallied 9.0 blocks and served seven aces, but the Huskies hit .336 to overcome Arizona.
Jordan Wilson led the Cats with 17 kills and
Carlie Cisneros notched a double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs.
Avery Scoggins also recorded a double-double with 32 assists and 12 digs.

Washington won the first set, 25-23. The Wildcats recorded six blocks to hold the Huskies to a .195 hitting percentage but Washington used an early lead and a pair of aces to win the opening set. Wilson led the offense with six kills and Cisneros followed with five kills. Bridges and
Ana Heath had three blocks each to help the defense.

The Huskies took a 2-0 lead in the match after winning the second set, 25-23. The Huskies used a .394 clip, three aces, and three blocks to win the set after 12 tie scores. Wilson led the attack again with seven kills and a .357 hitting percentage. Heath tallied three kills on five swings, but it wasn't enough for the Cats to even the match.

Arizona fell in the third set, 22-25. The Wildcats hit .367 and served three aces but the Huskies won the set with a .455 hitting percentage and 17 kills. Cisneros and Wilson both had four kills while Heath added three kills and a solo block for the Cats.
The Wildcats will face San Diego on Saturday, September 13 at 2 p.m. MST to close out the Husky Invitational in Seattle. Â
