LOMA, Colo. - Arizona placed second at the Desert's Edge Collegiate Cup on Sunday morning. The Wildcats totaled of 283 points to take second among eight teams.

Seven Wildcats finished in the top 25 individually with Kelly Lyn Wetteland taking first with a time of 1:02:48. Mia Wentzy was fifth with a time of 1:04:01. Sara Crociani was 12th with a time of 1:04:27 and Dana Prikrylova placed 15th with a time of 1:05:08. Molly Lakustiak finished 19th with a time of 1:06:17, Ellison Wolfe was 20th with a time of 1:06:17, and Mia Wentzy placed 23rd with a time of 1:07:01.

Arizona will host the Duel in the Desert on Saturday, September 20 against Arizona State at Hillenbrand Aquatic Center. The race is the program's first ever home race and will begin with prelims at 7 a.m. MST while the finals will begin at 9 a.m. MST.
