TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona Athletics today announced the launch of the Saguaro Society, a new philanthropic leadership program within the Wildcat Club designed to elevate and sustain the student-athlete experience at the University of Arizona. 

The Saguaro Society is comprised of donors who make an annual philanthropic investment of $10,000 or more for five years, providing critical support for strategic priorities outlined in the Bear Down Blueprint. These investments will strengthen competitive excellence, academic success, the holistic development of our student-athletes, and the long-term stability of Arizona Athletics.  

"The Saguaro Society is designed to bring together a committed community of philanthropic leaders," said Desireé Reed-Francois, R. Ken Coit Director of Athletics. "This program not only recognizes transformational giving, it ensures that the sustained resources required for student-athlete success in an increasingly competitive landscape will be there as we strive for championships." 

Members of the Saguaro Society will enjoy exclusive experiences and recognition opportunities that reflect the impact of their leadership giving. Benefits include invitations to private events, behind-the-scenes access, and premium spaces within Casino Del Sol Stadium and McKale Center. In addition, the annual Saguaro Society Weekend will bring members together with campus leaders, coaches, and student-athletes for an immersive look at the future of Arizona Athletics.
