TUCSON, Ariz. – With college athletics enduring changes in so many areas, there remains at least one constant and that is that student-athletes at the University of Arizona continue to excel in the classroom. During the Fall 2025 semester, the 3.412 cumulative GPA for student-athletes across all sports set a department record for semester GPA yet again.

It is the 16
th consecutive semester that the department has posted a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher, the longest streak in department history.

A total of 19 teams earned a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher, led by Beach Volleyball's 3.892 GPA, which was the highest of any team. The highest men's team GPA belonged to Men's Tennis at 3.581.

Five teams posted their highest fall semester GPA on record – baseball, men's tennis, soccer, volleyball and beach volleyball. And 10 teams improved their semester GPA from Fall 2024.

Fall 2025 Academic Success By The Numbers
- 77.8% of student-athletes earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- 54.6% of student-athletes earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher
- 25.4% of student-athletes earned a perfect 4.0 GPA
- 19 teams earned a semester GPA of 3.0 or better
- 10 teams improved their semester GPA from Fall 2024
- Beach Volleyball posted the highest team GPA for the semester (3.892)
- Men's Tennis registered the highest GPA among men's teams (3.581)

In addition to the record-setting GPA, the NCAA released Graduation Success Rate (GSR) numbers recently and Arizona's 92% GSR was also the highest in department history.
