TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Gymnastics' Aubrey Krohnfeldt was named the Big 12 Specialist of the Week, announced by the conference on Tuesday. This is Krohnfeldt's first Big 12 weekly award.
 
Krohnfeldt earned Specialist of the Week honors after helping Arizona earn a season-best 196.800 in the GymCats' win over Towson. The sophomore from Mesa, Arizona placed first on bars after scoring a career-high 9.90 as the team's anchor and pushed Arizona to a season high score of 49.225 on the event.  
 
Krohnfeldt and the GymCats will head to BYU on Friday, January 30 to begin Big 12 duel meets. The meet is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. MST and will be streamed on ESPN+.
