TUCSON, Ariz. – The Women's team is back at Hillenbrand this Friday, January 9th, to face the NAU Lumberjacks. The Cats are coming off a win against Texas A&M with a standout performance by Eleni Gewalt, earning Big 12 Swimmer of the Week.
 
The Women's swim team is coming off a strong sweep in the two-day meet against Texas A&M on December 19th and 20th. The Women's team placed top three in 30 events. The Wildcats are now ranked No. 24 and are looking to extend their record this Friday.
 
Last week, Eleni Gewalt was named Big 12 Simmer of the Week. Eleni had an excellent two days against the Aggies, placing first in the 100 breast and 400-medley relay. Gewalt also placed second in the 200-medley relay and third in the 200 breast, 200-free relay, and 400-free relay. Gewalt's 200 breast had a season-best time of 2:13.42.
