GREENSBORO, NC – Arizona Swim & Dive is heading to Greensboro, North Caroline for their second appearance at the Big 12 Championships. The Cats will compete against top competitors in the Big 12 conference from February 24-28.
The Wildcats will compete at the Greensboro Aquatic Center against Arizona State, Baylor, Cincinnati, Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Texas Christian University, Utah, and West Virginia.
Arizona and Arizona State are the only teams of the competition ranked in the Top 25 (Arizona Men's 17, Arizona Women's 23, ASU Men's 2, ASU Women's 17).
Competition begins Tuesday, February 24, at 8:00 AM MST for the timed trials. Finals will kick off at 4:00 PM MST each day of competition.
2025 Big 12 Championships Flashback
At the Big 12 Championships last year, both squads took home silver. The men's 800 free relay team set a program record for Arizona. This time was also 10th in the country last year.
With an impressive time of 48.56,
Julia Wozniak took home her first individual gold, followed by
Riley Botton in second.
On the distance side,
Malia Rausch took home bronze in the 500 Free, with a 4:44.48 last year, and
Mason Nyboer secured fifth in the men's 500 free.
Gage DuBois earned silver in the Men's Team Event and 3m event.
Colin Agor was named Freshman Diver of the meet after his outstanding performances on the boards.
