SANTA BARBARA, Calif.- The Arizona women's tennis team travels to Santa Barbara this weekend for three matches against UCSB, No. 22 Texas Tech and Florida State on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 6–7. Match times are to be announced.
Arizona will face host UCSB during the weekend. The Gauchos enter the matchup with one ranked singles player in No. 100 Ekua Youri and no ranked doubles teams. The meeting marks just the second all-time matchup between the two programs, with Arizona earning a 4–3 victory in the previous match last February.
The Wildcats will also take on No. 22 Texas Tech. The Red Raiders feature two ranked doubles teams, led by the No. 62 pairing of Dmitrichenko/Murphy and the No. 83 duo of Hlahola/Dmitrichenko. Texas Tech does not have any ranked singles players. The teams last met during the 2025 season, with the Red Raiders claiming a 4–1 win.
Arizona will round out the weekend against Florida State. The Seminoles are unranked as a team and do not feature any ranked doubles teams but bring ranked singles players No. 82 Amelia Bissett and No. 102 Eva Shaw. The programs last met in 2014, with Florida State edging Arizona, 4–3.
Arizona enters the weekend without any ranked singles or doubles players as the Wildcats continue early-season competition against a challenging road slate.
