Zara Ayazi Named Big 12 Diver of the Week

TUCSON, Ariz. – Zara Ayazi earns Big 12 Diver of the Week honors after an outstanding performance last week at the Lumberjack Invite up in Flagstaff, Arizona.
A senior, Ayazi, placed top two in all three events over the three-day invitational. Ayazi placed first in the 1-meter (591.10) and platform (546.65). Ayazi also placed second on the 3-meter (585.55). Ayazi continues to deliver for the dive team and is improving scores as the season goes on.
Ayazi and the Arizona Swim and Dive team will compete tomorrow, Friday, February 6th, at 1 PM MST at home against Arizona State. This will be the last home meet of the season.
