LUBBOCK, Texas – No. 12 Arizona opened the series against No. 2 Texas Tech with a 9-0 run-rule win on Friday night. This marked Arizona's ninth consecutive run-rule which set a program record.

The Wildcats scored nine runs on six hits and drew two walks to take down the Red Raiders.
Grace Jenkins went 2-for-3 with seven RBI to lead Arizona.
Tayler Biehl went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and one RBI.

Arizona scored five runs in the third inning to take the lead. Biehl drove in the first run with an RBI double to bring home
Regan Shockey from first base. Jenkins then hit a three-run home run to give the Cats a 4-0 lead and
Anyssa Wild followed Jenkins with a solo home run.

The Wildcats took a 9-0 lead in the fourth inning Jenkins hit a grand slam - her second home run of the game.
