TUCSON, Ariz. — The University of Arizona Men's Tennis team returns home to host Michigan State on Monday, March 3 at 1 p.m. MST in Tucson.
The Wildcats and Spartans will meet for the second time this season after Arizona secured a 4-1 victory over Michigan State at the Diablo Invite on Saturday. The all-time series between the programs is at 2-1 in their last meetings, with Monday's matchup marking the first time the teams will face off in Tucson. Last season, the Spartans claimed a 4-1 win in Lansing.
Arizona enters the match with four ranked singles players,
Jay Friend at No. 5,
Alexander Rozin at No. 54,
Filip Gustafsson at No. 88 and
Zoran Ludoski at No. 97.
Michigan State also has two players in the singles rankings, claiming the No. 11 and No. 23 spots. They also have a doubles pair ranked at No. 44.
Updated ITA rankings are scheduled to be released on March 3 prior to first serve.
