SAN JOSE - After a commanding win over Arkansas in the Sweet 16 Thursday night at the SAP Center, head coach Tommy Lloyd and the Wildcats were back in the arena on Friday to preview the Elite Eight matchup with No. 2 seed Purdue. 

It is the Wildcats 12th all-time appearance in the Elite Eight and the first since 2015 and they will be looking to advance to the Final Four for the first time since 2001 and the fifth time in program history.
