Wildcats Sit in the Middle of the Pack After Day One of The GameAbove Invitational

Arizona Women's Golf completed the opening day of the GameAbove Invitational with 36 holes of play, finishing the day in the middle of the pack at 14-over par as a team.

Leading the way for the Arizona Wildcats was Charlotte Back, who sits 1-over overall and tied for eighth after two rounds. Back had an opening round of 74 then an impressive 1-under 71 in the afternoon, highlighted by a couple birdies and an eagle on hole 15.

Nena Wongthanavimok followed with a strong start to the tournament and is 3-over through 36 holes. After opening with an even-par 72, Wongthanavimok added a 75 in round two to sit tied for 16th.

Kinsley Ni sits at 7-over overall after posting rounds of 75 and 76 on the day. Julia Misemer is 10-over through two rounds, recording rounds of 75 and 79 during the opening rounds of play. Competing in the second round for Arizona, Sara Vitasek carded an even-par 72.

Arizona will return to the course tomorrow at 8:00am MST for the final round looking to climb the leaderboard and close out the tournament strong.
