ORLANDO, Fla.- No. 26 Arizona opens postseason play Wednesday at the Big 12 Women's Tennis Championship against No. 5 seed Kansas at the USTA National Campus, with the match set for 3 p.m. MST.
The Wildcats enter the tournament ranked No. 26 in the latest ITA poll, marking their highest ranking since reaching No. 25 in 2014.
Arizona and Kansas met earlier this season, with the Wildcats earning a 4-0 sweep.
Kansas, ranked No. 36 nationally, is led by No. 74 Kyoka Kubo in singles play. In doubles, the Jayhawks' tandem of Heike Janse van Vuuren/Kyoka Kubo is ranked No. 64.
Arizona does not currently have any ranked singles or doubles players.
