Martin Heads to NCAA Gymnastics Championships

TUCSON, Ariz. – Junior Abigayle Martin is set to compete on the balance beam as an individual competitor at the National Collegiate Women's Gymnastics Championships. She will compete in Session 1 on Thursday, April 16 that begins at 1:30 p.m. MST and she will rotate with Georgia.
Martin has been Arizona's anchor on beam in all but one meet during the 2026 season and finished the season with a 9.895 NQS. She posted a career best 9.925 twice, including at the NCAA Tempe Regional Semifinal last week to finish in first place in the second session.
Martin is one of four individuals to qualify to Nationals for balance beam, joined by Michigan's Carly Bauman, Utah's Ana Padurariu, and Kentucky's Delaynee Rodriguez.
