TUCSON, Ariz. – No. 20 Arizona completed the sweep over Houston with a 15-4 five-inning win on Sunday afternoon at Hillenbrand Stadium.

The Wildcats plated 15 runs on 14 hits and three players had three hits while
Tele Jennings and
Grace Jenkins both drove in five runs. Four of Arizona's hits were home runs that belonged to Jenkins, Jennings, and
Sydney Stewart.

Houston struck first with two runs in the top of the first on a two-run home run. Arizona responded immediately with five runs on three home runs in the bottom half of the inning to take the lead. Stewart hit a three-run home run, her 19th of the season, to bring across the first three runs for the Cats. Jennings followed with a solo home run and Jenkins also hit a solo home run to round out the inning.

Arizona scored five runs in the second to extend the lead to 10-2. Jennings continued her hot streak with a two-RBI single that scored three runs.
Tayler Biehl drove in a run with an RBI single and Jenkins had an RBI double to bring home the fifth run of the inning.

In the third inning, the Cats scored five more runs to take a 15-2 lead over the Cougars. Jennings drove in a pair of runs with a single to give her five RBI on the day. Jenkins then hit a three-run home run, her second homer of the game and 11th of the season, to give Arizona a 13-run lead.

The Cougars scored two runs in the top of the fifth on an RBI groundout and an RBI single but the Cats retired the final two batters to secure the series weep.

Rylie Holder picked up her second win of the weekend to improve to 11-4 on the season. She tossed three innings in relief and held Houston scoreless on two hits.
Jenae Berry started in the circle and pitched the first inning, allowing two runs to score on two hits and striking out one batter.
Sarah Wright entered in the fifth and gave up two runs on three hits with one strikeout to close the game.
