Arizona's Women's Tennis Set for Ohio Regional

COLUMBUS, Ohio.- Arizona will face No. 34 Notre Dame in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, May 2, at 7:00 a.m. MST at the Ohio State Tennis Center in Columbus. With a win, the Wildcats would advance to the second round at 1:00 p.m. MST.
The Wildcats (20–9), ranked No. 26 nationally, are making back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances after competing in last year's tournament, capping off a strong season that included a run to the Big 12 Championship semifinals. In their most recent match, Arizona fell 4–2 to No. 21 UCF in a hard-fought battle at the Big 12 Championship semifinals.
Saturday's matchup marks the first meeting between Arizona and Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish enter the match ranked No. 34 nationally, setting up a competitive first-round contest between two top-35 programs. With a win, Arizona would advance to face host and No. 3 seed Ohio State or Youngstown State in the second round. First and second round matches will be held May 1–2, with regional champions advancing to the NCAA Super Regionals.
