TUCSON, Ariz.- No. 29 Arizona closes out its Big 12 slate on the road this week, traveling to face No. 26 Utah on Thursday and No. 27 BYU on Saturday in its final conference matchups of the season.
The Wildcats will open the week against the Utes at 2 p.m. MST on Thursday, April 9. Utah enters the match ranked No. 26 and is led by No. 94 Emma Kamper in singles play. The Utes do not have any ranked doubles teams. Arizona holds a 15-6 all-time record against Utah and won last season's meeting, 4-2.
Arizona continues road play on Saturday, April 11, facing BYU at 10 a.m. MST. The Cougars are ranked No. 27 and feature the No. 78 doubles pair of Grace Levelston and Kendall Kovick. BYU does not have any ranked singles players. The Wildcats lead the all-time series 8-2 and earned a 4-1 victory in last season's matchup.
Arizona enters the weekend ranked No. 29, sitting just behind both opponents in a tightly grouped section of the national rankings. The Wildcats do not currently have any ranked singles or doubles players.
The weekend also presents a milestone opportunity for Arizona, as two wins would give the Wildcats 10 conference victories this season, surpassing last year's program record of eight Big 12 wins (8-5).
