TUCSON, Ariz. – The No. 20 Wildcats dropped the second game of the series to Utah, 5-1, on Saturday afternoon. Arizona is 35-14 (16-7 Big 12) following the loss.  Â

Arizona recorded five hits and
Sydney Stewart hit a home run to score the only run for the Wildcats.

The Utes struck with one run in the bottom of the first inning to take an early lead over the Cats. Utah scored on an RBI single.

In the third inning, Utah scored two runs to take a 3-0 lead in the game. The first run scored on a solo home run and the second run was scored on an RBI single.

Utah hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning to take a 5-0 lead over Arizona.

The Wildcats scored one in the top of the seventh to make it a 5-1 game. Stewart hit her 20th home run of the season to lead off the seventh.

Rylie Holder was charged with the loss to fall to 11-5 on the season. Holder pitched 2.1 innings and allowed three runs to score on nine hits.
Jenae Berry entered in relief in the third inning and pitched the final 3.2 innings. She allowed two runs on four hits and struck out two Utes.
