TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona men's tennis player Jay Friend further etched his name into the program record books, earning ITA All-America honors, the organization announced Tuesday.

Friend finished the season ranked No. 3 in the final ITA Singles Rankings, matching the highest final singles ranking in program history for Arizona men's tennis.

He delivered a sensational senior season, helping lead the Wildcats to a Big 12 regular-season title and the program's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight.

Friend posted a 20-3 record during the 2025-26 campaign, competing exclusively on Court 1. He was named Big 12 Co-Player of the Year and earned All-Big 12 First Team honors in both singles and doubles.
