TUCSON, Ariz. - Arizona Beach Volleyball head coach Steve Walker announced that Jamie Streit will serve as an assistant coach for the program after recently finishing her career as a SandCat.  
 
"I am incredibly excited to bring Jamie on as a member of our coaching staff to begin her career," Walker said. "She brings great energy, a strong work ethic, and a passion for developing student-athletes. As a young talented coach, she will make an immediate impact on our program and I can't wait to see what we'll accomplish in the future." 
 
Streit registered 16 wins for Arizona in her final season in 2026 and won the match-clinching point for Arizona against UC Davis during the 2025 season. Prior to her two years spent at Arizona, she played four seasons of indoor volleyball at Idaho State where she earned All-Big Sky second team honors in 2023 and 2024. Streit finished her four-year indoor volleyball career at Idaho State as a member of the program's 1,000-Kill Club.  
 
A native of Pinedale, Wyoming, Streit was the Idaho State Female Big Sky Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the 2024-25 academic year and was a four-time Big Sky All-Academic and 2026 Big 12 Spring All-Academic team honoree. Additionally, she was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at Idaho State and was one of the Big Sky's NCAA Woman of the Year nominees in 2025.
