TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Triathlon unveiled its full 2026 schedule on Wednesday, featuring five races for the back-to-back National Champions.
Head Coach
Wes Johnson and the Wildcats are returning seven triathletes from the 2025 National Championship team, including the reigning individual National Champion
Kelly Wetteland and
Margareta Vrablova who placed second at the 2025 National Championship. Arizona will welcome four newcomers to the roster this season: freshmen
Maria Clara Abreu Borges Cunha,
Amit Ben Adiva, and
Rylan Lonergan and sophomore
Regina Michel Camacho.
Arizona will begin the season with two-straight road races starting with the Duquesne Cup in Beaver Falls, Pa., on Sunday, August 30. Then, the Cats will head to the Desert's Edge Collegiate Cup in Loma/Grand Junction, Colo., on Sunday, September 27.
Following the pair of road races, the Wildcats will host the Cactus Collegiate Cup on Saturday, October 10. This will be the program's second consecutive year hosting a home race.
Arizona will then compete in the NCAA West National Qualifier in Fort Worth, Texas, on Sunday, October 18 followed by the USA Triathlon National Championship in Tempe, Ariz., on Sunday, November 8.
