Biography

JUNIOR (2015-16)
Continued her role as the Wildcats’ leader, ending the 2015-16 season with a 19-8 overall record while finishing 16-7 in dual action, both of which were team highs… Went 4-5 in the Pac-12... All 16 wins came from the No. 1 spot… Teamed up for the No. 1 doubles spot with Shayne Austin, going 15-5 overall and 5-3 in Pac-12 play, both of which led the team… Ranked No. 55 in the final ITA individual poll… Named a member of the Pac-12 First Team… Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention.

SOPHOMORE (2014-15)
Finished the 2014-15 season with a team-best 23-10 overall mark while going 16-5 in dual action, which was also the best on the team… She was the anchor for the Wildcats all year long going 5-5 in Pac-12 play, tied for the best total for Arizona, while recording a 6-7 record against nationally ranked opponents (ranking first on the team)…defeated 11th ranked Giuliana Olmas of USC…All 16 of her victories came at the No. 1 spot this spring… won 14 consecutive matches between Jan. 24- March 20, 12 of them in consecutive sets... In doubles she manned the No.2 spot with Hendrikx tallying a 9-10 mark on the year, good for the third highest on the squad…was named a Pac-12 Honorable Mention and finished the season ranked No. 62 in the final ITA individual poll…also collected Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention honors.

FRESHMAN (2013-14)
Was named Pac-12 Player of the Week on March 25…Posted a successful freshman year with a 16-6 singles record at the Nos. 3, 4 and 5 spots…Defeated No. 14 Zsofi Susanyi at California, 6-2, 6-1…Also recorded 14-5 doubles record at the Nos. 1 and 2 spots.

High School: Graduated from Palm Desert High School in Rancho Mirage, Calif… Was a finalist at the Southern California Sectionals, won the UTSA National Open in doubles, came first in the Copper Bowl, earned third place at the USTA National Hard Courts in doubles, and third at the USTA National open. Also, singles player of the year for 2010-2011, 2012-2013. Doubles player of the year for high school tennis league in 2009-2010.

Biggest influence of tennis career- My dad. He always pushes me to be my best and has always believed in me.

Spends free time- Shopping, listening to music, and watch TV/movies.

Favorite places to play tennis other than Arizona- San Diego or Orange County, Calif

Favorite TV show/Movie- Breaking Bad

Favorite Food- Sushi, chocolate

Why she chose Arizona- Because of the prestigious coaching staff, the players on the team, and being able to compete in the Pac-12, the toughest conference in the country.

On Coach Maes- Coach Maes is extremely dedicated and knowledgeable. It is important to her that each and every one of us not only succeed on the court, but off the court as well. She is a highly respected coach and player and I’m excited to be able to work with her.
