2011-12: Earned a second-place finish in the 1000 free at Arizona State...Recorded a second-place finish in the 1000 free at No. 6 California...Posted a second-place finish in the 1000 free and a third-place finish in the 500 free versus No. 15 Iowa...Earned third-place finishes in the 1000 free and the 500 free versus No. 8 USC...Finished fourth in the 1000 free versus Wisconsin.
High School: Swam for The King's Academy....Earned first-team all-conference honors his freshman, sophomore, and junior years....Team MVP for his sophomore and junior year...15-16 Pacific Swimming Swimmer of the Year....3rd place finisher at CCS High School Championships in 500yd Freestyle...also recruited by Texas, Indiana, and UCSB
Personal: Son of Eugene and Cynthia...has a brother, Eric, and two sisters, Victoria and Kendal...brother swims for UCSD....intends to major in business
Why Arizona: I wanted to be part of a team that helps each other succeed not only individually, but also together as a whole. It's so rare to find a team like the one at Arizona and I didn't want to give up the chance of being on the greatest team in the country.
