Biography
Finished sixth in the 50m free finals at the Olympic Trials...Five-time All-American in her first two seasons at Arizona.
2011-12: Received Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention accolades...Earned two All-American honors with her third-place finish in the 200 free relay and fourth-place finish in the 400 free relay at the NCAA Championships...Beat her personal best time in the 200 free with a time of 1:47.90 at the Texas Invite.
2010-11: Was a part of Arizona's all-freshman 200 freestyle relay at the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas which claimed second overall with a time of 1:28.02. On that relay, Flederbach fielded the fastest split of the frosh quartet with a 21.82...Picked up two additional All-America honors by way of the 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay...Anchored home the medley relay in 21.70 for sixth-place nationally...Swam the second leg on UA's fourth-place 400 free relay...Individually at NCAA's, she swam in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle...She was 27th in the 50 free and 26th in the 100 free
Personal: Daughter of Mark and Lynda Flederbach...Has one brother.

Why Arizona: What really stood out to me about the University of Arizona, besides the swimming program, was the location and beautiful campus, and its Speech Pathology program; it's one of the best in the nation.
