Outdoors: Competed in six high jump competitions, and one long jump event, winning all but one contest … Finished in first place at the Jim Click Shootout with a high jump 6-0.75 mark in the high jump … Tabbed a 5-11.5 at the NCAA Championships to earn second team All-American high jump honors …Finished in first at the NCAA West prelims and the Pac-12 Championships in the high jump with a 5-10.5 mark at both events … Finished in first at the Duel in the Desert in the long jump … 

 

2016: Indoors, Hagens participated in four high jump competitions where she placed in the top-seven in each event. Her season-best mark came at the Lumberjack Team Challenge where she cleared the mark at 5 ft. - 8.75 in. (1.74m) for a first-place finish … Outdoors, Hagens participated in eight high jump events over the 2016 outdoor campaign for her junior year. She had four first place finishes, with the best coming at the Pac-12 Championships marking 5ft. - 8.75in. (1.74m) to become the Pac-12 women’s high jump champion. Additionally, Hagens performed in the NCAA Championships in May where she placed 23rd with a mark of 5 ft. - 8.75 in. (1.74m) to earn All-America Honorable Mention honors.

2015: Indoors, set a personal best in the high jump at the Don Kirby Elite with a clearance of 6-0 (1.82m), good for third place at the meet … Took second at the MPSF Championships by jumping 5-11.25 (1.80m) … Cleared a height of 5-10 (1.77m) at the NCAA Championships, good for a 13th-place finish and second-team All-American accolades … Outdoors, set a personal best at the Arizona-ASU Dual meet in the high jump with a clearance of 5-11.25 (1.80m) and finished in first place … Took 17th in the high jump at the Pac-12 Championships with a jump of 5-5.75 (1.67m) … Finished the year at the NCAA West Preliminaries and cleared a mark of 5-8 (1.72m), good for 29th place … Set a personal best at the Willie Williams Classic in the long jump with a mark of 17-7.5 (5.37m), good for eighth place.

2014: Indoors, Hagens’ personal-best clearance of 5-7 (1.70m) in the high jump came at the Mountain T’s Invitational, good for third place overall … At the MPSF Championships, she finished in 12th place overall with a clearance of 5-6 (1.68m) … Outdoors, Hagens long jumped 17-7.5 (5.37m) at the Willie Williams Classic, good for eighth place … Due to injury, she did not compete the rest of the season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Hagens graduated from Alfrink College in the Netherlands … They do not have school athletics so she competed on a club team … She was the Dutch National Junior Champion in the high jump for indoor and outdoor in 2012 … She also won the Dutch National Junior Championship in the long jump for 2012 indoor and outdoor season … She earned a silver medal at Dutch National Championships in high jump in 2013 … She competed at the 2012 World Junior Championships in Barcelona.

PERSONAL: She is the daughter of Jorith van der Spek and Herman Hagens and was born in Zoetermeer, Netherlands … She has five brothers, Leo, Victor, Julien, Alexander and Yoram … She also has four sisters, Sasja, Sarah, Charlotte, Anne-Fleur … She is pursuing a degree in engineering.
