winning streak with a 4-3 victory in Tucson (2/12).
Aybar highlights fall season: The Wildcats competed in five main draw
tournaments this fall. Red-shirt junior Alex Aybar, who finished the fall
campaign 9-3, made it to the quarterfinals at the Rolex Regionals in
Malibu, Calif. (11/4-7). Finishing the season 8-4, sophomore Caleb
Marquardt made it to the flight one championships at the University of San
Diego Tournament (10/15-17). Doubles partners Aybar and senior Jean-Noel
LaCoste defeated both the No. 2 and No. 12 nationally-ranked doubles teams
at Jerry's Desert Invitational in Palm Springs (1/7-9).

Cats in the Polls: The Wildcats moved up five spots in the rankings after
earning three consecutive wins. Aybar is tied at 86th in the nation with
Auburn's Tiago Ruffoni.
Head Coach: Bill Wright is entering his 14th year as the men's tennis coach
at the University of Arizona. In his years at Arizona he has collected an
overall record of 119-180. He is a 1960 graduate of Southern Methodist
University and also has a law degree from Denver University.
Next Match: The Wildcats will play host to Texas Tech Friday, Feb. 25, at
1:30. They will then face Arizona State Saturday, Feb. 26, at noon. Both
matches will take place at the Robson Tennis Center on campus.
