OJAI, Calif. - Arizona's ninth-ranked doubles team of junior Michelle Gough
and sophomore Lindsay Blau captured the Pac-10 doubles title, Sunday, at
the Ojai Valley Tennis Center. The pair outlasted USC's duo of Kara
Warkentin and Tiffany Brymer, 6-4, 3-6, 7-5.
The victory marked the second time in school history that a team has won
the Pac-10 doubles title. Alix Creek and Michelle Oldham was the first duo
to win the tournament in 1993.
The Wildcats will return to action in two weeks when they travel to the
NCAA regionals, May 13-14. Pairings and seedings will be announced Thurs.,
May 4.
