FOX Sports Net Regional Sports Report Provides University of Arizona Fans More Coverage of Wildcat
Athletics
FOX Sports Net Arizona has launched its own edition of the Regional Sports Report, a 30-minute
sports news show that airs at 11 p.m. every night of the week. Providing in-depth looks and
analysis of the teams and athletes from the state of Arizona, the Regional Sports Report will also
provide regular interviews and reports on Wildcat athletics. The goal of the show is to not only
show just what is happening in the state of Arizona, but provide insight into how major national
sports stories and issues impact the region and hometown fan.
The Regional Sports Report is a complement to FOX Sports Net's National Sports Report at 10 p.m.
and midnight local time, and is followed at 11:30 p.m. by The Last Word With Jim Rome. In addition
to the 11 p.m. nightly airing, the Regional Sports Report is also re-played the following weekday
morning at 7 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. It is rebroadcast on Saturdays and Sundays at 6 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.
Additionally, beginning in August, a 7 p.m Regional Sports Report show will be added to the
already loaded FOX Sports Net weekly schedule.
The FOX Sports Net Arizona National Sports Report features co-anchors Matt Morrison and Paul
Devlin, while reporters Jody Jackson and University of Arizona alum Sean Mooney provide all the
local team coverage and local sports news stories. Leading the production of the show is senior
producer John Vasseur, who is also a Univerisity of Arizona graduate.
For the second year in a row, FOX Sports Net Arizona will once again air "Prowlin' With the
Wildcats", a magazine show devoted to University of Arizona athletics. The 2000-01 premiere is set
for Wednesday, Aug. 30, at 7:30 p.m.
