The Cats joined five other Pacific-10 Conference schools in the Top 20, including Stanford, which finished No. 1 for its sixth consecutive Directors' Cup Championship. The Cardinal were followed by UCLA (2nd), Arizona (8th), Arizona State (11th), California (15th) and Southern California (16th), giving the league the hightest total of any conference at the top of the standings.
