Trecia Roberts, 100m High Hurdles, Thailand -
Roberts ran collegiately at Arizona for only one season in 1994 after transferring from Wyoming, where she ran track from 1990-93. In her senior season at Arizona, Roberts set school records in the 100m High Hurdles, when she ran 13.47 at the Arizona State-Northern Arizona double-dual meet in Tucson. Although her outdoor record has been broken, Roberts still holds the school indoor 55m hurdle record when she ran 7.72 at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation meet in Reno, Nevada. Roberts has been ranked among the top-20 hurdlers in the world in the past several years. She finished 1999 No. 16 in the world in the 100m hurdles with a time of 12.83 to finish fifth in her semifinal at the World Championships. This season, Roberts has run a best time of 13.10 at a May 13 meet in Osaka, Japan. Roberts was born Jan. 4, 1971 in Bangkok, Thailand, and now lives in Colorado.
