PHOENIX, Ariz.-The Arizona baseball team (27-17) defeated Grand Canyon 4-2 in its final non-conference game of the season Tuesday night. The Wildcats rapped out 10 hits in their 27th win of the season.

The Cats evened the score in the top of the fourth and took the lead in the fifth, plating two runs for a 4-2 lead.

Offensively, Matt Abram led the charge for the Wildcat finishing the game 2-for-4 with a RBI and two runs scored. Sulser (3-1), who surrendered only two hits, picked up the win for the Cats striking out five in four innings of relief.

The Wildcats return to Pac-10 action this weekend as they host California for a three game set at Sancet Field. First pitch on Friday is set for 7 p.m. All three games can be heard live on 790 KNST.
