On Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, The University of Arizona Athletics
Department and the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame will be hosting an event
open to the public, for fans to pay tribute to Coach Lute Olson.
The Lute Olson Hall of Fame Tribute will be held at the Sheraton El
Conquistador from 6:30pm to 8:30pm., and will give fans a chance to
congratulate Coach Olson on his induction. The event will include a hosted
bar and feature various local restaurants.
The ticket price is $85 a person with $50 being a tax-deductible donation.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Athletics Department, the Naismith
Basketball Hall of Fame and the Bobbi Olson Ovarian Cancer Fund at the
Arizona Cancer Center.
