TUCSON, Ariz. - A two-run single by Kim Kluyskens in the bottom of the
seventh gave the Dutch National Team a 4-3 exhibition victory over the
Northern Iowa in Arizona's Hillenbrand Invitational Friday morning.
A three-run home run to center by Angela Higgins brought Northern Iowa
from behind and gave the Panthers a 3-2 lead in the fifth.
The Netherlands team had taken a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second when
Joyce Fortgens led off with a double and scored on an error after Sandra
Catoen's single was mishandled in left. Catoen eventually scored on a
two-out error by the UNI third baseman.
