The National Youth Sports Program (NYSP) combines sport instruction with
educational programs for Tucson youth ages 10-16. NYSP is open to all youth
in the community and is FREE for all enrollees. NYSP participants receive
and NYSP t-shirt, 2 daily USDA meals, transportation from selected sites
throughout the city, a free medical exam, and the opportunity to compete and
have fun on the UA campus daily.
The program runs from June 1-June 29, 2004 from 8am-1pm Monday-Saturday.
Three brief orientations will be provided. The first 75 kids in line for
each orientation will qualify for the free medical exam. The orientation
dates are: May 17, 25, and 27, 2004. Parents and participants are
encouraged to attend one (1) orientation session to finalize paperwork and
meet the staff.
